The Philippines, led by a woman president, is one of the nations suffering from internal and external turmoil. Children suffer and so do the older ones. Nowadays, it seems difficult, if not impossible, to return the peace and tranquility that our country once had. The country's situation is being aggravated by the war happening in countries from which we are dependent on. Now the question is: can the Philippines survive? Can President Gloria alleviate the Filipino people from poverty? Will this war end? The answer lies not only in her hands but in ours, too.
